Problems accessing EBSCOhost Databases with Firefox

There is currently a problem with EBSCOhost databases
(Business Source Complete, CINAHL, MEDLINE etc.) freezing on Firefox . This problem only affects people who are using Firefox on a thin client on campus, or through myAPPS. While a solution is being worked on, if you are having this problem, please try using Internet Explorer instead.

Update on Journal list and Full Text @ RGU problems

On the 22nd July we reported problems with the journals list and the Full Text @ RGU service which helps you track down articles. The problem was that

The journals list was not showing the electronic or print holidings for a large number of the journals which RGU provided access to.

The Full Text @ RGU service was likewise showing no availability for articles which should be accessible.

We can report that the library has been adding all missing journal information back to the system and that this work is nearly completed.

We do apologise for the problems this has caused and will report once all holdings have been restored.
