New programme of library classes, group sessions and drop-ins now available

The library is pleased to announce that our programme of library classes, group sessions and drop-ins for semester 2 15/16 is now publicly available and can be seen at this webpage: http://libguides.rgu.ac.uk/classes (accessible by following the Classes and Drop-Ins link on the library home page).

Library Classes

The home page gives details of the various classes that will be running this semester including: Library research skills, How to use RefWorks and Harvard Referencing classes.

The class and group sessions timetable page shows the dates and times of the classes on offer, starting on the 1st February and continuing until 29th April:

And you can book a place by simply clicking the class you would like to attend and entering a few details.

Book a Librarian Group Sessions

Alongside the classes groups of between 2 and 8 students can now book a librarian for an hour to help with finding information, Harvard and Vancouver referencing, and using RefWorks.

Just get a group together, pick one of the sessions on the timetable:

And then tell us what you need help with by using the booking form! The sessions start on Tuesday 2nd February and run regularly until the end of April. They will take place in Project Pod Kappa on Level 4 of the GSS Learning Centre.

Ask the Library Drop-In Sessions

Finally if you would like to see us individually please come along to one of the “Ask the Library” Drop-In Sessions. These run throughout the week in 337 in the GSS Learning Centre and you can see when they are running by looking at the Drop-in timetable page.
