Earlier this year Construction Information Service announced they were upgrading the database and gave everyone a chance to test out the new version of the database while still being able to access the legacy version.
After some months of testing and running both versions of the database at the same time there has now been the announcement that the legacy version will be discontinued in January 2016.
We have put together a quick guide to the new version of Construction Information Service which you can access here:
And the database can be accessed as always:
- Go to the databases by subject list: http://libguides.rgu.ac.uk/subject
- Choose the architecture, construction or surveying list
- Locate Construction Information Service and follow the link
- Log in when prompted
- You will now be at the initial screen, choose the current version rather than the legacy option to use the upgraded database.
