One of the most significant engineering resources available to RGU students, researchers and staff is Knovel.
Knovel provides access to a large range of eBooks on a wide variety of topics such as oil and gas engineering, mechanics, electrical engineering, sustainable energy, civil engineering and much more. And this eBook provision is probably how you are most aware of Knovel as the eBooks are all added to and accessible from the library catalogue and are often in use within reading lists.
However Knovel also offers the chance for you to do keyword searching and quickly locate relevant results from within a range of eBooks using its search facilities, and there are also other features available such as the materials and properties data search and the interactive tables, graphs and equations that add additional value for all users.
In November Knovel are visiting RGU and will be running a session that will show how to best use Knovel and how it can assist in learning, teaching and research. The session is open to everyone and will take place:
- Tuesday 3rd November
- N344, Sir Ian Wood Building
