New genetic map of the UK

DNA

You may have seen today’s press coverage of the map on the BBC and in newspapers. As the Independent reports, a new study in the magazine Nature “shows how the nation was forged by successive waves of immigration from continental Europe over 10,000 years since the end of the last Ice Age.”

Want to read the study? It can be accessed by RGU students and staff via the library’s subscription to Nature.  Just login with your usual RGU details.
